How do I get to the top of the mountain?
The best way to do this is to use the cable car. It will take you about 30 minutes on the longest aerial tramway ride in the world. Along the way, you will witness some of the most beautiful sceneries in the world including a top view of the 99 bends, the valleys and the mountainous range.
What are the Cliff-Hanging Walkway and Skywalk?
As the name implies, you will be walking along the edge of the mountain here which goes up to 1,400 meters. The whole journey is about 1.6 kilometers where you will come to a hanging bridge that links 2 peaks at the end. Meanwhile, the Coiled Dragon Cliff Glass Walkway allows you to ‘float’ over what is below you on the crystal-clear footways. This is one attraction that is not for the faint-hearted as you will be staring straight down into the forests below.
What are the 99 Bends?
This refers to the 99 sharp curves that lead to the Tianmen Cave. From the cable car ride, you would be able to see how the curves are that lead from the foot to the top of the mountain. This is not recommended for people with carsickness because the curves are very sharp and narrow.
