JT International Berhad is the manufacturers of major cigarette brands in Malaysia with a product line that includes Mild Seven, Winston, Salem and Camel. It is the Malaysian subsidiary of Japan Tobacco International and operates from its headquarters in Damansara Heights in Kuala Lumpur. It manufacturing plant is in Selangor while they operate their Leaf and Stemmery plant in Kelantan. Sales are operated through its 9 Sales Sate offices located around the country.
Its financial year ending December 31, 2010 recorded a profit before tax at RM178.9 million with total net sales at RM1,205.1 million. Its Japan conglomerate is the third largest tobacco company in the world, holding 11% of global market share. Its cigarette brands are also well established with Winston being the No.2 brand globally and they also manage the top selling charcoal filter cigarette, Mild Seven.
