S P Setia Berhad is perhaps one of the fastest rising and most improved companies in Malaysia today. The company started in 1974 when it was venturing into the construction sector and started venturing into property development in 1996. SP Setia came into the spotlight when it built its first project, the Pusat Bandar Puchong which was located on a 700 acre land in the Klang Valley. Today, SP Setia’s business has grown to major cities around Malaysia where it encircles around the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru and Penang, the 3 most dense and commercial cities while in East Malaysia, SP Setia also built the Aeropod @ Tanjung Aru in the tourist-popular city of Kota Kinabalu in Sabah. Apart from that, the company also achieved much success in the commercial property development sector with the completion of the SetiaWalk Puchong and has since embarked on the highly anticipated Kuala Lumpur Eco City project. SP Setia has since moved its operations beyond Malaysia where it has expanded its wings to other countries that include Vietnam. On top of that, it has also developed properties and residential areas in Australia, Singapore as well as planning for the China market.
